Florida day three

Day three was off to the Magic Kingdom. From what I had read everyone said to arrive at the park an hour before it opened. The park opened at 9:00 so at 7:30ish we headed out the door for our fun adventure. We packed my backpack with essential items. (snacks, diapers, extra clothes, camera's, toys for Caleb . . . ) Jacob's backpack was filled with lots of frozen water bottles.

Here are Jacob and Ben trying to hold the backpack up

Since we left so early and it is a slow week at Disney we were able to see the opening ceremony. I think the kids liked it although they had no idea what to expect.
When the gates opened the first thing we came to was:
1. Snow white's scary adventure. This was a mistake to go on this ride. Ben got a little scared and was then scared to go on any ride that may be dark after that point.
2. Next we were off to Dumbo the flying elephant (Jacob's favorite ride)
3. We then hit up Peter Pan's flight
sometime around this time Ben asked when we were going home. He was disappointed when I told him we were going to stay all day. (his attitude completely changed later on)
4. Following this was Small World (Ben says this was one of his favorites) This is the face Jacob had all day long. It is kind of saying, I am tired and trying to take all of this in at the same time. Next we picked up a fast pass for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
5. Josh and Ben went on a ride on the Mad Tea Party. Ben asked if they were going to dump tea on them.
6. The boys then visited Donald's boat (I am pretty sure this is when Ben started getting really into everything Disney)
7. A tour of Mickey's country house was next on the list.
8. We then went back and got on the Winnie the pooh ride (one of my fav's)
9. Josh and Ben were off to the Tomorrowland Speedway. Watch out world Ben was given a drivers license at Disney hope I doesn't try it anywhere else. Jack, Caleb and I changed some diapers and had a snack.
10. Ben, Caleb and I then saw the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor which was very cute and funny. Josh arranged some golf and let Jake get a little nap in.
11. Next on the agenda was the carousel of progress. This was kind of cute however the ride got "stuck" so we saw part of it twice.
12. We were then off to the Tomorrowland Transit authority. It was a very fun ride giving us a tour of all of tomorroland.

13. Next we all visited the Monster's inc. laugh floor. Ben and I thought that Josh and Jake would have fun with it.
14. We were then off to our first parade. (Ben was a huge fan)
15. We then went back to Tomorrowland to go on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. (this was Josh's favorite)
at this point Josh and I were starving. We only had brought food for the kids and it was about 3:30 and we had still not eaten anything. On our search for food we ran into a cool spray water area that the kids had a blast in. Finally we found some food that sounded good and we were off to the rides again :)

16. We then took the kids through Swiss Family Treehouse (for some reason they didn't think it was as cool as I remember thinking it was when I went as a kid)
17. Caleb was then wanting some food and attention so Josh took the big boys on the Magic Carpets of Aladdin
18. It was then time to use our fastpass for the Jungle Cruise (they do such a good job entertaining both kids and adults on this one)

19. We then went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Ben didn't like it because it was dark at times but the rest of us had fun with it.
On our way to get a prime spot for the evening parade we stopped to take some pictures in from of the lit castle.

20. somewhere along the way Ben saw Mickey's PhilharMagic so we stopped to see the show.
21. Finally we saw the light parade and headed to the tram to take us back to our car.

The kids were at the park for almost 12 hours and they were amazing. Caleb enjoyed getting in and out of the stroller as we stood in line and he seemed to be amused by all the colors and people walking around. Jacob had fun with some of the characters but was very quite taking it in. More details of what he enjoyed came out the next day while he was playing with Ben. Ben was a trooper. He walked the entire park and seemed to enjoy it all (after his meltdown in the AM). It was a great day and I can't wait until we are able to go back again someday
