ben's day

Ben said another very funny thing today. We were driving somewhere and he said: "my buckle seat hurts mommy" meaning that his seat buckle hurt him :)

Funny Ben

I thought I would write some funny things that Ben has done and said today.

We are potty training Ben this week.

He decided to walk around the house in boots and big boy underwear. He did pretty well in the whole process today with only one major accident in the car :) Hopefully he will keep this up for

the rest of the week.

When he had an accident in the car today he told me "mommy poopy is hot" he really was talking about pee-pee but sometimes he gets confused.

We went to target to get Ben some new clothes and some dinner (our kitchen sink was leaking today). After Target we stopped by my parents house to help mom register Meg for a class. I had gotten Ben a hot dog from Target and he took the bun into Omi's he put the bun down so that Chloe would not eat it. We we left he told me "I forgot my bun mommy" I could not figure out what he was talking about until I remembered the hot dog.

Zoo Day

We decided to go to the zoo on Sunday with some Friends from church. The rest of Metro Detroit also decided to go to the Zoo. It was probably the beautiful 75 degree weather that brought out the crowds. It took us about 45 min to get into the zoo (a 5 min drive normally). By the time we got in all the kids were really tired but we still had lots of fun!

A day at Grandma and Grandpa's

our day packing at grandma and Grandpa's (Karen and Ted's) was a lot of fun but it really tired out two little boys!

When we were done helping Karen and Ted out we stopped at my parents (Peter and Betsy's) on the way home. Josh needed to help my dad fix the grill. As we were getting ready to leave Jacob started to fuss a little bit. I said "let's go before Jacob needs to eat again" Ben then said, "Omi do you have a boob?" Omi was holding Jacob at the time and I guess that Ben though that Omi could just feed Jacob since she had a boob also :)

I love my opi and look how well we coordinate
Opi does a really good job playing in the sandbox with me. Omi and Opi got me a cool sandbox for at their house. It is so much fun, I love to bury my animals in it

Sunglasses are the greatest invention

I think that it is crazy that Ben likes to eat apples whole without them being cut up. He will eat the entire thing if I am not paying attention and cut out the middle when he gets to that point. He is a crazy Kid

Jacob's Birth

A new blog

well, I decided that I would start a blog. I am not much of a writer so it will probably be just pictures of the boys. I thought it would be a good way to share pictures with everyone without having to email them all to everyone. If you see any that you would like just let me know and I will email them over to you. I am going to try and post pic's from when Jacob was born and go from there.
We are on our way to the park now but I will send some later on today hopefully
