On Goal

Ben took place in the On Goal soccer camp this summer. He had an absolute blast and can't wait to do it again next year. Below is a little info about on goal from their website http://www.ongoal.org

On Goal is a Christian ministry focused on leading people toward life's greatest goal - knowing Jesus!

Through unique soccer programs focused on coaching excellence in a positive atmosphere, On Goal has impacted thousands of lives and enabled churches around the world to reach their communities.

On Goal began in 1985 when Tom Fite's love for soccer and passion to serve God became the first On Goal Soccer Camp.

On Goal continues to conduct outstanding soccer camps and has added the On Goal Futsal program. In every program, On Goal encourages each player to become The Total Player™.

Speaking of being a Total player. Each day the children were encouraged to participate in activities completely, listen during Bible time, Share, help and show a good attitude. The top Children each day were given the honor of being the Total player for their team each day.

Here is Ben running through the tunnel on the day he was his team's (the golden midget's) Total Player.

Bryce and Jake had lots of fun all week playing on the playground and watching their older brothers. Both wished they were old enough to play soccer as well. A few more years guys

These are some shots of Ben during group time. This past week he was able to memorize Philippians 2:9-11 which says "Therefore He exulted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in Heaven and on Earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the father" Ask him and he will say it for you. It is pretty impressive if you ask me.
Ben's favorite game of the week was Wolfy Wolfy. They would ask "wolfy, wolfy what time is it" he would respond with a time and the kids would have to kick their soccer ball that many times. when he said lunchtime the kids had to run back to their line without being caught. They all seemed to love it.
Mr goofy on the last day world cup game. (that bottom picture of of both Ben and his cousin April who he just met this week)

He got is reward and was so excited about it

4th of July

Josh put on a fireworks display for us on the 4th. The boys were not very impressed by the loud noise but enjoyed the show (along with our neighbors across the street)

KKDC

The week of June 22 - 28 Ben, Jake, Caleb and I participated in our church's Kreative Kids Day Camp (kind of like VBS but way cooler). Ben was in the mini camp program and had an absolute blast. He is such a social kid he LOVES to be able to spend time with other kids. Jake, Caleb and I were in the nursery (from 8-3:30 everyday). We had lots of fun but that is a long time with lots of little ones. We tried to do as much as we could with the little ones before lunchtime to get them nice and tired so they would nap. Somehow most of them would nap every afternoon it worked amazingly.

Here is Mr. Jake enjoying the bounce house

Jake and his girls. Jake seems to be following after his Brother in the ladies man attitude

All smiles from Caleb. I don't think he touched the floor all week during camp. He was very well loved while at camp

I had to have a little girl time we all enjoyed putting the blocks in our hair

We took the kids to "Overdrive" in the mornings where the older kids (K-5) would sing songs and get ready for the day. We took them to the balcony and the loved listening to the music and climbing up and down the stairs.

See Ben in the front row. Be was little mister dance. Pretty sure he danced throught the whole thing at least from what I could see way at the top

The kids looking for something in the gazabo

This is at the closing ceremony. The kids sang a super cute song called "He's still working on me" (that big "purple guys" as Ben would say is Ben's new buddy Scott)
