It is all in a days work

A very long day plus a few hours last weekend and we are still not done. Both sets of Grandparents gave the boys money for a swing set for Christmas. Since we finally decided on one we wanted and Josh is in between tests it was time to put up the structure. Everything that we read says that it takes 20+ hours and that is definitely an accurate number. Last weekend We spent a few hours getting it started after Church on Sunday but we committed to finishing it up this weekend.

Saturday Grandma came over an took the older boys to the zoo with GAC. Nana and Heather came over here to help out. Nana helped watch Caled all day which was a huge help and Heather helped Josh out. I took on a project in the fron yard trying to relandsape that since we removed some major bushes last year when we moved in. (more pictures on that when it is finished)

The swingset project started full force at 9:30 and at 9:30 at night I was standing on top of the stcuture holding up the swing beam to finsih that part in the dark. We finished up some more steps on Sunday and just have the roof left to complete on the swingset and a tree to remove and a new one to plan in the front.

Here it is. There is a picnic table under where the slide is. A rock wall on one side and a ladder on the back. There will be a very cute roof on the top hopefully this week.
