Crazy conversation

I just had a crazy conversation with my boys here is how it went.

Ben was having an attitude issue.
I asked him "are you going to be nice or are you going to time out"
he didn't answer so I asked him to "please obey"
Jacob looked at me and said "boo boo"
I asked him where his boo boo was
he shook his head and pointed to Ben
I asked him if Ben had a boo boo
he patted his bum
I them asked him if Ben needed boo boo on his head to which he shook his head yes.
I guess he has been paying attention to my discipline :)

Birthday number 2

The second party took place on Jacob's actually Day. The Nast's came over we had some pizza celebrated and ate some cake. It was a fun afternoon.

One of the funniest comments of the day came from Ben. After the gifts were opened Jacob was playing. I was trying to make sure the attention was going to the birthday boy instead of the boy who can so easily steal the show. Josh was upstairs for a min and when he came down he found Ben on the couch in the living room. Josh asked Ben what he was doing, Ben replied "I don't want to be with Jacob right now". Guess someone was a little jealous of all the attention going to the little brother. I was proud of the way he handled himself by removing himself from the situation instead of acting out.

Jacob's Birthday #1

It was Jacob's birthday on the 8th. I am still in amazement that he is two already (although he has been acting like it since his b.day)

We celebrated (the boys are I) with my parents on Saturday. The boys had fun and it was kind of fun to have a very laid back party for the little man.

For some reason we ended up having Jacob open all his gifts while sitting in his chair at the table. Not sure why this happened but it was kind of nice to have him contained
